Support

Show slideshows, signage, live streams and NDI® video on your Apple TV, with clocks, timers, countdowns and messages on top.

Getting started

  1. Open Druben Screen and choose Add source.
  2. Pick Slideshow, Video, Signage, Livestream or NDI and fill in the details.
  3. Select the source to show it full screen. Turn on Open the last source when this Apple TV starts for unattended screens.

Overlays

While a source plays, click the remote's touch surface or press Play/Pause to open the Overlays bar: clock, on-the-spot timer, weekly schedule, message banner and LIVE badge. Press Menu to close it, and Menu again to go back.

Slideshows

Add text slides on gradient, solid or moving backgrounds, and photos from your phone: choose Add photos from your phone, scan the code with your phone's camera, and pick photos. Your phone must be on the same network as the Apple TV. Choose how long each slide shows and how it fades.

Videos

Choose Add a video from your phone, scan the code and pick a video. Keep the page open until it says Added. While it plays, use the remote as usual: play/pause, swipe to scrub, click left or right to skip. Choose loop or play once, and sound on or muted, in the source's settings.

Editing and settings

Press and hold a source on the home screen to edit or delete it. The gear at the top right has start-up, iCloud sharing, demos, and About.

Several Apple TVs

Apple TVs signed in to the same Apple ID share their sources, slides, photos and videos through iCloud when Share sources with Apple TVs on this Apple ID is on. Each TV still chooses what it opens at start-up, its own overlays, and its own signage device name.

Common questions

My livestream shows "waiting". The stream hasn't started yet. The TV checks regularly and starts playing on its own when you go live.

My NDI source isn't listed. Make sure the sender is on and on the same network as the Apple TV. A wired (Ethernet) connection gives the best results. Free NDI tools for testing are at ndi.video/tools.

Signage says it can't find the server. Edit the source and enter your signage server's address.

Which Apple TVs work? Any Apple TV with tvOS 18 or later. For NDI, an Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or newer) is recommended.
